THE SWEET AND BITTER

BELOVED! Cling to me.
Please! God weary not at this sinner's plea.
Grant me a boon amongst the multitudes.
BELOVED! Heed not the dulcet beckoning.
Oh, mellifluous siren traitor thy kin,
Warn my love from that far shore.
BELOVED!
Please!
Stay thy sweet spirit.
Let my soul blanket thee in a thousand loves.
Oh bitter opulence
Tempt her not to eternity
My heart, my one, my love, my love, my love
If the infant dawn of passage release thy mortal coil
Wait my love
Wait on the edge of night
Wait between heaven and hell
Bide an eternal moment
I will be along in due course
The seas of time will know of our pairing
I will find thee in eyes essence
Good night my dear
A final kiss before morning
I more than love thee
Thou art mine own quest infinite.
