Collaboration Poem +So So Bright Crenshaw and +Michael Garland
Where is The Lord My God ?
So So Bright: Why the great "I AM"
isn't hearing my demand ?
I been in bondage for to long,
I want to move on.
Dear God, are you with me ?
Do you even see me ?
Michael: I am with you always,
everyday, every night.
Why hast thou fallen into despair ?
I am the wellspring climb
the golden stair.
A burden to heavy will never be
mine to thee.
Still thou art my lion; I
expect more you see.
I will not hear your demand.
I will drink in your love.
For I am the power, the light I am
he that is in you.
Rejoice in me, for your
suffering shall not continue.
So So Bright: when I cried out you finally
heard me.
I had to cling to you, just
to get next you.
I hearken to your voice yes it
is true.
Can you expand the beauty; and
rain upon your child ?
Having so many flows of rivers,
will never be as good as your waterfall riches.
Michael: I am the life; and in you I
am pleased.
Child of light my soldier my queen,
The passion of love inside you,
it sings.
I will give to you wonders, I
will give to you me.
Never cling to no other for in me
you are free.
The waters of life shall rain
down on thee,
Stand strong and sing; for I
am with thee in all things.
From the whisper of the breeze and the
patter of rain.
To know me is life; I have
Joy in you daughter.
My whisper a treasure my
gaze your reprieve.
Come as a child forever
with me.
